Has anyone ever seen that Lowe's does a workshop on Saturday's? It's for kids and their parents and its FREE!!!
(we brought Abbie Grace along to watch!)Today we headed over to the Southside Lowe's (this is also offered at the New Lowe's) and signed up for the class. I believe that it is held every other weekend.
They had these cute little aprons for the kids to wear and they both got patches for completing the project. (Which of course I have already sewn on.....and am way more excited about than them!)
This week was Halloween themed. Each station had a kit and a hammer. They also had safety glasses. Tom helped Lucius while I took pictures and helped Maggie. The kids had a great time using the real hammer and nails. I can't believe that they do this for free!
After the class, we took the kids over to the firetrucks. The police, state trooper, and fire departments were all on hand giving out kid safety info.

I have heard about these classes, but have never done one! We have GOT to try it out! Thanks for the reminder and great pics!
